Redefining Black Power, a special program to celebrate the launch of the Pacifica Radio Archive's first book published by City Lights Books, "Redefining Black Power: Reflections on the State of Black America."

This book utilizes the Pacifica Radio Archive's classic Civil Rights and Black Power recordings such as W.E.B Dubois, Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Audre Lourde as a context for a new conversation on the state of Black America with contemporary educators, activists and philosophers.

The Camino de Santiago is an 1100 year old pilgrimage with routes throughout Europe that end at Santiago de Compostela in Northwest Spain.  Thousands of people walk, bicycle or go by horseback every year.  Host Stepanie Potter speaks with Kathy Kennerly and Lydia Smith who are both part of the newly established Portland chapter of the American Pilgrims on the Camino.

Dave Mazza speaks with Stone about his seeking the intersection of committed spiritual practice and social action, as explored in his latest book, Awake in the World: Teachings from Yoga & Buddhism for Living an Engaged Life. Stone teaches at Toronto's Centre of Gravity and is the author of several books.
